White Linen Handkerchief with Hand Embroidered Monogram

|||

This listing is for ONE (1) handkerchief. This white linen handkerchief is monogrammed with your initial, a perfect pocket square to personalize for your groomsmen or yourself! This hankie is made from 100% Irish handkerchief linen, for a crisp, cool texture that will only get better with use. Linen is stronger, absorbs more water, can withstand higher heat, and lasts longer than cotton, and the Irish weave the finest linen in the world. It is hand-cut to 13 inches and hemmed with a dainty rolled hem, for a personal touch that extends to the smallest details. The embroidery, done in any color or shade you choose, consists of stem stitch artfully tapered to enhance the shape of each letter for a distinguished look. Each is embroidered completely by hand - not machine - and, although it takes more skill and more time, the results are worth it. Please - I love to have a personal relationship with each of my customers. Message me with any custom requests, specific color shades, or any other questions you have! I love to know where every handkerchief is going, whether to a new grandfather in Ontario, bridesmaids in Italy, or for a sweetheart here at home!

Institute for Computational Cosmology
The Institute for Computational Cosmology (ICC) is a leading international centre for research into the origin and evolution of the Universe at Durham University . We address some of the most fundamental questions in science: What were the first objects in the Universe? How do galaxies form? What is the nature of the dark matter and dark energy? Where does the large-scale structure of the universe come from? What is the fate of the Universe?

Ernest Rutherford Fellowship Applications 2021
We welcome applications for STFC Ernest Rutherford Fellowships. There are quota limits on ERF applications and so we require all applicants to submit a CV using the STFC narrative CV template, publication list, and a short (*strict* 1 page limit) research outline, including a brief additional paragraph (not counted within the 1 page limit) on why Durham and how the project connects to Durham. In addition, please identify (and contact) a member of staff to be your academic host to support you in the preparation of your application. Please ensure that the name of your academic host is included at the top of the research outline. The deadline for these documents is the 5th August 2021 and they should be submitted to astro.secretary@durham.ac.uk.

A summary of our various Fellowship opportunties can be found here.

The ICC is part of the Ogden Centre for Fundamental Physics and interacts closely with the Centre for Extragalactic Astronomy and the Centre for Advanced Instrumentation in the Department of Physics. We offer both PhD and Msc postgraduate studentships.

In November 2016, the ICC moved into the brand new Ogden Centre for Fundamental Physics building, designed by the world renowned Studio Daniel Libeskind. The new building now houses all three astronomy groups in the Department of Physics, including the Centre for Advanced Instrumentation and the Centre for Extragalactic Astronomy, as well as the Institute for Computational Cosmology.

Newsletter: The ICC's May 2015 newsletter is available for download.
